Gulet Cruise in Dubrovnik
How to Choose a Charter Gulet in Dubrovnik?
When choosing a gulet for your sailing holidays, you have to keep in mind the number of people sailing with you, as well as your budget. The bigger the gulet, the higher the price. You need to think about how much luxury you want and level of comfort you require - the price will depend upon those choices. Also, the price is higher if you want to make your own itinerary. You can choose between private gulet charter, where you get maximum comfort, privacy and flexibility on itinerary, provisioning and menu and cabin charter, where you only charter as many cabins as you need and not the entire boat and you cannot choose on the itinerary nor the embarking or disembarking ports or menu.
Typical Day on a Dubrovnik Charter Gulet
Upon getting aboard a gulet, you are assisted into your cabin. Once you settle, there will be a welcome meeting including briefing regarding the route in Dubrovnik area and security on board. The cruise starts right after or the following day, depending upon the weather conditions and guests' arrival. It usually lasts 3-4 hours per day, visiting a bay or two. The best part of the day is spent sunbathing, swimming, fishing, water-skiing, snorkeling, etc. If you are moored in a port, you can spend the day sightseeing and exploring the shore. Dining is normally outdoor, on the aft deck, in a port or some secluded bay, depending on guests' wishes. Evenings are usually spent in a port or anchored outside the port.
